I'm the good looking one with the follically challenged appearance. You'd lose your hair too if you had to put two kids through 10 years of University. I escaped with my 'Get out of jail free card' from Norwich Union in 2003 and am now a Marketing and Business Development Director working for a division of Scotland's largest independent regional insurance brokers.
My first love in music is Heavy Metal, Tuba, Led Zeppelin, French Horn, Led Zeppelin, Xylophone and, I almost forgot Led Zeppelin. You could say I'm Dazed and Confused or on a Stairway to Heaven.
Both of my daughters have experienced the delights of Barbershop singing at Sainsbury Choir of the year finals in Buxton and were so enthusiastic that they cajoled me into joining a Group, Perth Barbershop Singers under the expert leadership of Martin Neilson.
My hobbies are golf, I used to be good at it, Boys champion at 19. Playing guitar, I used to play in rock bands, and supporting St. Johnstone football club. Am I a loser or not?
Most of the time I sing lead with the B#'s and occasionally Tenor. You should really hear us to appreciate the sounds we make. Watch this space for news about the release of our very first recording.
My daughters tell me they are the real musical talent, well they've had their chance with pianos, trumpets, violins, French horns, timpani, xylophone and accordion. I had to listen to them all of these years, now they can listen to me!
