People do not write to me as I am the bass in the Quartet and obviously people are scared of basses, because they are the real men of the Barbershop world.

Seriously the bass supplies the depth to the harmonies and boy am I deep!

Like the majority of the Quartet (apart from the tenor who is musical?) sport is my abiding passion. It used to be Rugby and cricket but nowadays golf is the only one left, people say I play it the same way as the other two.

Like the others I have two children (girls) Between us we have 6 girls and 2 boys. Both girls followed me into the teaching profession, can you believe it?

My wife Josephine is our resident groupie at our concerts. She actually thinks we are quite good!!!
